NUPI INDUSTRIE ITALIANE S.p.A. is pleased to announce new EPDs (Environmental Product Declaration) certifications for its products. The EPD is a declaration verified by an independent body, which objectively and transparently communicates the environmental performance of products throughout their life cycle. Having an EPD allows professionals to choose products that meet specific sustainability criteria, necessary for the design of buildings with a Smart and Green Building perspective. The EPD expresses the environmental parameters linked to the life cycle of a product/service, such as environmental impact, use of environmental resources and waste production. With a proactive vision, NUPI is committed to being transparent and clear in its continued journey towards a more sustainable future. In its commitment to providing customers with increasingly detailed information, NUPI has just published three EPDs for ELOFIT polyethylene fittings. These EPDs communicate the potential environmental impacts for the ranges of spigot fittings, electrofusion welding fittings and also polyethylene brass transition fittings, for the transport of pressure water, gas and industrial fluids.
