MultiPINZA is a system of multilayer pipes and press fittings made of brass and PPSU for the transport of drinking water.

 

The innovation is the transition from a system which ensured the possibility to clamp only with U-type clamping jaws to a system suitable for 5 different types of clamping jaws: TH - U - H - B – F types.

THE FITTING CONFORMS TO THE CLAMPING JAWS!

 

The pipe used in the MultiPINZA system, already used for the MultiNUPI system, is a multilayer pipe composed of 5 layers perfectly joined to each other thanks to an innovative technological process made possible by avant-garde equipment.

 

The new range of MultiPINZA mechanical press-fittings  allows the installer to press by using the most common TH, U, H, F and B type clamping jaws.

 

It will no longer be necessary to change the equipment according to the type of fitting as the fitting conforms to the equipment already provided. As for the MultiNUPI range, MultiPINZA fittings are available with BRASS and PPSU body and the range includes diameters from 16mm to 32mm with the addition of  diameter 20x2mm.

 

A spacer specifically designed to allow the use of TH type clamping jaws (one of the most used on the market) prevents the brass fitting to come into direct contact with the multilayer pipe, thus avoiding contact between aluminum and brass, the so-called battery effect. The spacer also has the task of supporting the stainless steel reinforcement bush that allows the pipe to have greater pressing strength on the fitting.

ASSEMBLY

The assembly technique of the MultiPINZA system offers the same rapidity of the MultiNUPI system.

 

The most important operation to obtain a perfect junction is always to calibrate/flare the pipe with the special countersink/reamer.

 

In addition to the recalibration of the pipe, which may have got crushed during the cutting operation, this operation achieves the flaring required so that the O-ring does not come out during the insertion.

 

Thanks to the little window in the new spacer it is possible to check that the pipe correctly reaches the stop. To conclude the operation press the fitting on the pipe by using a pressing tool and suitable clamping jaws.
