NRGeo is the system of geothermal probes and accessories for the exploitation of geothermal energy by NUPI Industrie Italiane S.p.A., specifically designed for geothermal heat pump systems that use the ground as a heat source.

 

The NRGeo system is composed of:

  • Polyethylene probes DN 32 or 40 - PN 16, available in PE100 or PE100 RC, in rolls from 60 to 300 m, with single (simplex) or double (duplex) pipe 
  • Polyethylene pipes for the injection of bentonite mud 
  • Polyethylene pipes for horizontal connections 
  • Terminating fittings or probe feet (U-bend) 
  • Y-connectors and spacers 
  • Ballasts (throwaway weights to allow deep installations) 
  • Manholes and distribution manifolds thermoplastic material 
  • Equipment and accessories for mounting and installation

 

NRGeo probes are entirely produced, assembled and tested in NUPI Industrie Italiane S.p.A. production plants. The utmost care and attention is used during the delicate welding process for joining the probe and the foot, during testing and also during packaging, storage and shipping.

Moreover, the KIWA KQ certificate according to the technical specification KI 0418 (Geothermal Probe, pipes and fittings made of PE), attests to the quality of the system and the entire NRGeo production process by NUPI Industrie Italiane S.p.A.


nrgeoThe NRGeo system is well integrated within a project of high-tech energy management for a better exploitation of renewable energy sources. This project of larger scale called ELOSFERA consists in combining multiple product ranges by NUPI Industrie Italiane S.p.A.:

  • ELOWEB for floor heating plant systems
  • NRGeo for geothermal heat exchangers for the exploitation of heat from the ground

 
nrgeoThe integration of all these technologies allows the production of hot water for heating and sanitary use and cold water for air conditioning, thus making geothermal installations an ideal alternative to traditional systems.

The big advantage is that a geothermal system has alone the same functions normally entrusted to two different devices - boilers and air conditioners.

The ELOSFERA project is the only solution that is energetically possible and valid where the distribution of natural gas and/or electricity is not possible and where therefore boilers and/or air conditioners would not be of any use.
